Christmas Presents

I am in a good mood because a friend's wife that we had been praying for during treatment of cervical cancer since last summer was just declared "cancer-free" by her doctors. She will be monitored, of course, but it is such a nice gift at Christmas to hear about such a victory. Thank you Lord!

Here's another one - as Breakpoint calls it, "blob of tissue to homecoming queen." A married woman was raped and became pregnant. Her husband demanded that it be him or the baby and the mother chose life. Two days after birth the little girl was adopted and lived a very happy and normal life with her adoptive parents. She went off to college at Auburn University and ran for homecoming queen. Her topic was pregnancy alternatives and she told her story, which she had been told now that she was an adult and it caught fire. She was interviewed multiple times on television and by other media and told her story - she was living proof that she was not just a "blob of tissue" way back when, but a beautiful and talented young lady who was just starting to live. And who, by the way, was elected Auburn's homecoming queen.

Life is good. God is good. Merry Christmas!
